Yesterday the Hopkins Academy boys baseball team beat Athol in a 1-0 thriller.
That's not what matters though. After the game, while sitting in the Athol Girl's softball dugout, there was a near death experience. Nick "Gunslinger" McKenna was using Andy "Candy Girl" Blajda's headphones. While spinning the headphones in his hands, he broke them.
With that came the grin. Andy was furious and started yelling at Gunny. Gunny was ordered, by Coach Pat "Skip" Lemieux, to get him new ones and he accepted that. Andy then got a big hug from Burke and he was all better. Timmy, being Timmy, joined in on this hug.
After that Cam "Gam" Mathieu told me I was "apt to grab the [baseballs]."
Good use of the word "apt" Gam.
Way to use your think tank.
